1. Who we are
Echo Reply is a company based in the European Union that builds infrastructure tools for network engineers. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at privacy@echo-reply.net.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data through two forms on this site:
Launch notification signup — We collect your email address only. The sole purpose is to send you a one-time notification when new Echo Reply products launch. We do not collect your name, location, IP address, or any other personal information through this form.
Enterprise inquiry form — When you submit an enterprise inquiry by emailing hello@echo-reply.net, we collect your company name, contact name, email address, estimated zone count, and an optional message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and assess whether our enterprise offering is a good fit.
3. Legal basis
Launch notification signup — We process your email address based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give this consent by checking the opt-in checkbox on the signup form and confirming your email address through the double opt-in process.
Enterprise inquiry form — We process the data you submit based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in responding to business inquiries about our products and services. By submitting the form, you are initiating a conversation with us about our enterprise offering.
4. How we use your data
Launch notification signup — Your email address is used for two things:
- To send you a confirmation email verifying your subscription (double opt-in).
- To send you a launch notification when new Echo Reply products become available.
Enterprise inquiry form — The information you provide is used to:
- Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions.
- Assess whether our enterprise offering is a good fit for your organisation.
We do not share, sell, or use your personal data for any other purpose. We do not send marketing emails, newsletters, or third-party offers.
5. Data retention
Launch notification signup — Your email address is deleted within 30 days after the launch notification is sent. If you unsubscribe before launch, your email address is deleted immediately.
Enterprise inquiry form — Your inquiry data is deleted within 12 months of our last correspondence, unless we enter into an ongoing business relationship. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict processing of your data
- Port your data to another service
- Withdraw consent at any time

7. How to unsubscribe or request deletion
Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. Click it to immediately remove your email address from our list. To request deletion of any data we hold about you — whether from a launch notification signup or an enterprise inquiry — email privacy@echo-reply.net.
8. Cookies
This site does not use cookies or any tracking technologies. We do not use analytics services, advertising pixels, or third-party scripts that track you. Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser's localStorage, which is not personal data and is never sent to our servers.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
