Billing, plans, and resource capacity
Billing is managed per organisation. Open Billing, select the organisation, and choose a tab. You need billing-view permission to see subscription and invoice information, and billing-edit permission to make changes.
Subscription and capacity
The Subscription tab shows the organisation’s plan and current resource usage. If there is no subscription, a user with billing-edit permission can choose from the plans available to that organisation. The current price, billing currency, billing period, and confirmation step are shown in the app; check them before completing checkout.
For an active subscription, the page shows the renewal date and available plan controls. Depending on the plan, you can stage a plan, quantity, or billing period change and review the price before confirming it. A reduced allowance cannot be lower than the resources the organisation is still using. Remove or move resources first if the page says the reduction is blocked.
The Zone add-ons section, when shown, lists additional capacity separately. Review usage before changing a quantity; it cannot be reduced below the number in use. Private Master zones and hosted zones share the organisation’s main zone allowance while enabled.
An eligible user can claim one free Basis zone. Eligibility belongs to the user and is not granted again for each organisation. The app shows whether the user is eligible and applies any discount in the checkout quote. DNS zones included with a domain registration are separate from the organisation’s regular zone allowance.
If a zone or record limit is reached, read the message shown for that action. Depending on the resource and operation, the app may refuse the change or create a disabled zone or record until capacity is available. Disabled DNS is not served. See zone management and Private Masters for their resource rules.
Invoices and upcoming payments
Open Invoices to review upcoming line items and past invoices or credit notes. Where available, choose View PDF to open an invoice document. The upcoming-payments view may list subscription charges and separate domain registration or renewal charges with their due dates. An unknown renewal price is shown as a price to be confirmed at renewal; do not substitute an old price from a previous transaction.
If checkout or a payment is still processing, check the transaction and subscription status before starting the same payment again. A completed checkout does not necessarily mean a registrar has finished processing the related domain order.
Payment methods
Open Payment Methods to add a method, set an available method as the default, or remove one that is no longer needed. Payment details are handled through Stripe’s secure payment flow. Some methods cannot be removed or made default while they are tied to an unsettled operation; follow the explanation shown in the app. Check a pending or failed method change before retrying it.
Billing details and currency
Open Billing Details to review or update the organisation’s billing name, email, phone, address, and tax identifiers. Billing-edit permission is needed to save changes. The app validates details according to the billing country. Where currency selection is available, review the displayed currency and confirmation before changing it; quotes refresh in the selected currency.
Cancellation and help
Use the subscription controls only after checking their confirmation text and effective date. A standard subscription cancellation usually stops renewal at the end of the current billing period; the page displays the actual boundary for the selected subscription and may offer a way to undo a scheduled cancellation. Other contract-ending options have separate eligibility and effects, so read their terms before submitting them.
Billing permissions are separate from DNS and registration permissions. The Billing role preset provides billing access and registration visibility, without DNS record access. See team management for role access.
For a failed payment or subscription change, use the status and instructions on the Billing page before repeating it. For help, contact info@echo-reply.net with the organisation name and transaction reference. Do not send full payment-card details.
